Fred Mark Dry
Fred Mark Dry is the principal and senior attorney at Fred Mark Dry, Attorney At Law in Northfield, Illinois. While still in law school as a senior student in the fall of 1975, well before entering into private practice, he was given a special license to practice law by the Illinois Supreme Court and worked weekday mornings as a Public Defender. He won his first Motion To Suppress Evidence during this time. Law school classes were in the afternoon.
After graduating from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, he passed the bar exam on the first attempt in November, 1976. He then went to work for the Cook County Public Defender’s Office. As an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Dry practiced in Juvenile Court, misdemeanor branch courts, and Mental Health Court. Ultimately entering private practice in August, 1977 in the Firm Dry & Brady. He became a solo practitioner in 1986.
Mr. Dry was born and raised in the City of Chicago. He attended grammar school one block from Wrigley Field and graduated from Lane Technical High School. His college education began at Wright Junior College and was completed at Northeastern Illinois University.
He now limits his practice to Criminal matters, DUI, Suspended License and all Traffic matters including Secretary of State Formal Hearings.
